Are you the Maintenance and Operability Engineer we are looking for?
Aker Solutions' Project Engineering Services team based in Fornebu is responsible for offering services within Completion (greenfield/subsea), Supplier Package Follow-up, Maintenance, LCI and Documentation. Furthermore, the Project Engineering Services group is responsible for delivering asset integrity services for greenfield and brownfield projects both internally and to external customers. The main focus is to develop and optimize the operational and maintenance needs for oil field assets during the concept, design and the operational phase. The team consists of a small group of enthusiastic professionals with Bachelor`s, Master`s and Ph.D degrees within engineering.
We are now looking for Maintenance and Operability Engineers who can strengthen our team.
Responsibilities and Tasks
The Maintenance and Operability Engineer will participate in maintenance and operability studies under the supervision of a senior engineer. When ready, the engineer is expected to perform analyses both individually and as part of a team.
Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:
- Carry out equipment reliability and risk analysis, FMECA, and operational and maintenance equipment task analysis
- Coordinate with greenfield development project during design phase
- Coordinate with brownfield and MOD engineering
- Carry out lifetime extension studies
- Preparation of maintenance plan and procedures according to NORSOK Z-008
- Spare parts analyzes for commissioning, operating and capital spare parts
- Support development of O&M manuals
- Assist in development of performance standards related to safety analyzes
Qualifications and Personal Qualities
- Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in a technical discipline
- 1-3 years' work experience in a Maintenance and Planning department preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. Graduates with relevant qualifications will also be considered
- Interested in working within the area of Asset Integrity Management and supporting engineering design related to operation and maintenance
- Good knowledge and understanding of project execution, engineering, construction practices and business value chain
- Fluency in written and spoken English which is required to function effectively within a project team and to communicate with project management, contractors and subcontractors
- Good level of written and spoken Norwegian is an advantage
- Knowledge of relevant applicable specifications, codes and appropriate safety criteria
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards for offshore safety, safety procedures and lock out procedures
