Base Coordinator - Florø
Bristow Norway is recruiting for a Base Coordinator in Florø.
The role of the Base Coordinator is to ensure that all Bristow Norway ground operation at respective base is conducted in a safe and efficient way and in accordance with Norwegian Oil and Gas Guidelines, contract requirements and procedures laid down in Bristow Norway Ground Operation Manual.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Bristow Norway ground handling activities at the base
- Perform duties and responsibilities as a Traffic Coordinator on designated days
- Act as Bristow Norway representative against customers and local authorities
- Function as the local Emergency Response Coordinator
- Act as Ground Operation Safety Officer
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of fomal education
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Analytical, accurate, service-minded and flexible
- Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English

Our main base is at Stavanger Airport and includes hangars and office facilities. All heavy maintenance is performed "in-house" at our base in Stavanger by highly experienced and dedicated teams.
Bristow Norway AS has long-term contracts with Equinor, ConocoPhillips, Aker BP, Repsol Energy Norway, Vår Energi, Wintershall DEA, Neptune Energy, Shell and Lundin Norway. In addition, we perform offshore flying for a number of other companies.
