Product Manager, IoT Security
Silicon Labs is the leading provider of silicon, software and solutions for a smarter, more connected world.
We hire the most innovative talent in the world to solve the industry's toughest problems, providing our customers with significant advantages in performance, energy savings, connectivity and design simplicity. Silicon Labs' software and mixed signal engineering teams create solutions for customers in diverse markets including the Internet of Things, (IoT), internet infrastructure, TV tuners, as well as automotive and consumer radios. Our solutions are in products from the market leaders in home automation, electric vehicles, green technology, smart TVs and home voice control automation. We take pride in our products and in our people, and that's one of the many reasons we continue to be awarded Most Respected Public Semiconductor Company by the Global Semiconductor Alliance.
The opportunity
Attackers are increasingly turning their focus towards the IoT, and Silicon Labs is rising to that challenge. We engage with penetration testing houses and the hacker community, we contribute to technology standards that are driving up security requirements, and we participate in the conferences and track government regulation around all things security. All organizations are working on security, including chip design, firmware, tools, operations, quality, manufacturing, IT, legal, applications engineering, marketing, and sales.
The next generation of IoT products introduce advanced security features and represent a step function in capabilities for our customers. This includes, but is not limited to, secure commissioning of devices, hardware crypto engines, differential power analysis countermeasures, random number generators, secure debug control, secure boot, secure unique identity, Arm TrustZone, secure key storage, physically unclonable functions, tamper detection and protection, and secure firmware update/end-of-life.
These product capabilities allow our customers to secure their IP, comply with government regulation, reduce or eliminate product cloning, protect sensitive data, and improve quality and safety. The application of this technology is broad; customers are deploying quickly in the smart home, utility distribution, retail/payment systems, healthcare, infrastructure, lighting, and industrial automation segments.
In short, our goal is to be the leader in IoT end node technology, and that means being the leader in secure connectivity. Come join us!
