Design Manager Onboarding
The Service Design Manager is responsible for producing quality, secure and resilient designs for new or improved services. This includes producing service design documentation. The scope of the Service Design is:
- end-to-end in terms of how Cegal's platforms interact with the outside world and customer systems.
- top-to-bottom in terms of how software applications interact with supporting platforms, hardware, software & IT infrastructure, so that the entire ecosystem can be managed as a service.
Work tasks and responsibilities:
- Design customer solutions in accordance with Cegal´s standard product portfolio
- Validation that functional and non-functional requirements are identified and addressed by the operational solution
- Documentation of service monitoring
- Representing service owners in the design phases of any change
- Scoping the service introduction impact to the current organization
- Direct, motivate, plan and monitor changes in functional design
- Contribute to the project and service introduction planning process
- Seek to obtain feedback and use it for improvement of the team's practices or processes
- Ensure consistent processes and documentation standards are used across the team
Personal qualifications
- Reliable, independent and strive for quality
- Creative, solution oriented, and see opportunities beyond what is already defined
- A natural technical leader with good communication and presentation skills
- You are structured in your deliveries and understand the importance of documentation
- Analytical and commercial mind set
- Good communications skills and work well in teams
Formal requirements
- Work experience from IT and similar roles
- Master the Norwegian and English language, both written and verbally
- Good oral and written presentation skills in English
- Registered address and labor permit in Norway
