Our ideal candidate has experience in growing communities within the youth/student segment and has excellent oral and written communication skills. We are looking for a 'people person' with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community. Ultimately, as a Community Manager, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.
Skills and experience:
- Proven work experience as a community manager in the youth/student space
- Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing an email newsletter)
- Excellent communicator
- Good listener
- Self-starter
- Ability to understand usage metrics
- Up to date with trends
- Language: Native English, additional languages is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Develop programs and events to boost user growth and brand awareness primarily in the United Kingdom
- Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
- Interacting with users through customer support and SoMe
- Capturing insights from users and distribute them to the team
- Analyse and evaluate social growth activities
- Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
