Jotun's Group Purchasing (GP) department at the company HQ in Sandefjord is experiencing an increasing need for more support in various areas like sustainability initiatives, innovation projects, category management, market reports, regulatory requirements and ad hock projects.
Based on this we are looking to strengthen our team with a new Group Purchasing Support Officer that can assist and support the GP team with tasks within the above-mentioned fields.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The following will be part of your everyday work tasks and responsibilities:
- Administrative support in a range of category management related tasks
- Organize and follow up GP's involvement in innovation projects.
- Plan and facilitate workshops, liaise with other functions to help ensure satisfactory contribution
- Coordinate and follow up requests for price information from R&D department related Innovation and Technology projects
- Assist the category management by collecting and analyzing data.
- Follow up various tasks assigned to the category managers
- Assist the GP team in various task related to Jotun’s Sustainability Program
- Support in planning, facilitation and execution of internal and external meeting (E.g: Research and prepare presentations)
- Take part in various projects
- Support and assist in governance related tasks when necessary

Competencies
Training will be given to the chosen candidate and we believe that several backgrounds are relevant for this position, and that both recently educated candidates and candidates with a few years of experience are of interest.
- Min. bachelors degree in finance, process, engineering, R&D or other relevant subjects
- Min. 0-4 years of relevant experience
- Good skills in MS office software
- Preferable, but not required, with experience from using ERP systems
- Great English skills - both written and spoken
- Quick learner and business sense
