Compliance Officer with Norwegian laws and regulation experience to Financial Crime Compliance Risk

About this opportunity
Our centralised Testing and Monitoring team adds value by supporting and advising the Bank to be compliant with external laws, rules and regulations as well as our internal control framework. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a valuable role in impacting the Board of Directors and Senior Managements view on the Banks Financial Crime Compliance control environment.
What you will be doing:
- Perform testing activities in roles such as testing lead, subject matter expert and as a team member with ownership of risk and control design, testing design and reports with recommendations on risk mitigating measures
- Perform quality assurance activities to ensure high quality testing projects
- Supporting Business Area Compliance Officers in testing and monitoring related issues
- Active communication and stakeholder management
- Contributing in the Group Compliance risk assessment and planning process
You'll join a performance oriented team with a desire to be open to challenge in dialogue with stakeholders as well as presenting the functions independent view when time calls for that. We care for combatting Financial Crime in the society in large and find our work inherently motivating.
The role is based in Oslo but a candidate with the relevant experience from other locations also will be considered.

Your experience and background:
- Relevant work experience from a control function or legal function within the areas of Know Your Customer, Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions, Anti Bribery & Corruption or Tax Evasion.
- Professional level of competence in the Norwegian AML legislation or Sanction regulations.
- Minimium a Bachelor’s degree, ICA certificate or ICA diploma
- Excellent English and Norwegian language skills
- Data analysis capabilities
