We are establishing a Corporate IT Department in Altera Infrastructure and we now are recruiting for this newly established role.

Some of the things you will be accountable for:
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop information technology strategies, long term goals and road-maps
- Ensure alignment, common standards, operational and strategic direction and best practice
- Responsible for the analysis, development and implementation of Ship and Shore-based applications and programming activities
- Manages IT professionals who design/develop or acquire/adapt application software
- Provides overall direction and guidance to assigned project managers, reviews project requests, and coordinates schedules
- Responsible for the data strategy, developing analytic systems, and technical/analytic expertise
- Provides corporate leadership, vision, and direction for data analytics systems
- Develop and maintain partnerships and relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders
- Contributes to the overall Enterprise Architecture, Application Architecture and Business
- Intelligence development work
- Prepares status reports and communication with appropriate managers
- Oversees the selection process, contract negotiation and vendor management for agreements
- Develops and maintains annual operating and capital budgets
- Exercises appropriate financial stewardship adjusting financial decisions accordingly
- Develop job descriptions, standards of performance, interview, hire and conducts performance reviews
- Mentoring, coaching, training and career progression plan for team members and employees
What we are looking for:
- You hold a BSc./MSc. in computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science
- 10 years experience in a similar IT leadership role
- Several years of experience developing global application support management, data warehouse and analytics function, leading overall system integration initiatives
- Experienced driving cultural change with new productivity and collaboration tools
Working knowledge in Agile development strong engineering principles - Expertise in data architecture and supporting platforms/principles such as Business Objects, SSAS, Tableau
- Experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions using an Enterprise Bus
- Framework, middle-ware, or API Framework
- Strong communication skills, including executive level presence with focus on customer experience, operational maturity and compliance without compromising speed and agility
- Proven global leadership in software technology with experience implementing ground-up solutions and disruptive technologies driving business transformation
- Demonstrated innovation, creativity, and eagerness to provide ideas and suggestions
- Proven experience in driving operational efficiencies
- Flexible for business travels when required
We are a global organization in which working hours may include meetings outside of local perceived business schedule. We are looking for a candidate who is willing to be available during peak times which requires you to be highly flexible on your working schedule.
Experience with a global organization and publicly traded company, would be a very appreciated asset.
