Offshore Installation Supervisor - Mechanical Disciplines
- Responsible for deliveries as delegated by the Engineering & Construction Management, and Project Manager, with main focus on technical performance, constructability, work preparation, offshore personnel management, offshore material handling, documentation, MC scope and relevant commissioning activities.
- This role includes both on- and offshore work and act as the natural link between the Project Manager, engineering disciplines and the offshore organization.
- Responsible for overall offshore installation activities including MC field check, final installation documentation, communication with relevant Engineering disciplines and reporting to management.
- Act as the offshore point of contact for all inquiries from the onshore organisation and inquiries to Archer from client, rig operator or other relevant parties.
- For onshore work the Installation Supervisor will be responsible for checking and/or establishing ownership of risk assessments for offshore work, job cards/work packs, establishing MC & Commissioning input in relevant handover systems, identification of necessary tools & equipment and input to plan.

Management of the Archer Offshore Team, including project vendors.

Overall responsible for installation, MC and commissioning deliveries from the point of offshore start-up to final handover to client.

Installation method and constructability input.

Estimating of job duration.

Make sure that all necessary tools, equipment and materials are identified and ordered prior to offshore execution.

Act as support to the Installation team in solving of technical issues.

Good knowledge of project specific technical requirements.

Site Queries & Offshore project reporting
- Report back to the onshore organisation and client; including daily reports, proactive QHSE reporting, personnel planning, communication of key issues, progress reporting and maintenance/input to the project plan.
- Deliver a relevant hand-over if needed. (crew change)

Ensure that Archer standards and procedures are being utilized according to PEM and/or special project agreements.

Contribute in the project start-up phase, i.e. working with estimating, methods etc. involving onshore work.

Good knowledge of Clients MC & Commissioning handover systems.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of higher education within relevant subjects - Mechanical / Structural
- Minimum of 7 years' experience within oil & gas offshore work.
- Minimum 4 years` experience from offshore supervisor/installation lead work in mechanical disciplines
- Good knowledge and experience from field engineering work
- Good knowledge of offshore installation, MC and commissioning work.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of systems; PIMS, Procosys, Gocompletion, PCS, MS Office, ProArc, SAP, Lotus Notes and Omega cms.
- Good knowledge and experience from general EPCI work.
- Good knowledge of general modification and maintenance work related to offshore drilling facilities.
- Good knowledge and experience from Survey and Survey reports.
- Good knowledge and experience on Installation method and constructability input.
- Long relevant experience and/or additional competence may compensate for lack of formal education.
