On behalf of Höegh LNG we are searching for a Senior Manager to be a part of the team that covers reporting to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The role is a key role in the team as well as an visible role in an international organization. You will be working closely with various parts of the organization, subsidiaries as well as top management. As a Senior Manager you will play an important role in ensuring that Höegh LNG reports in compliance with the requirements for US GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls over financial reporting at the highest professional standard. We are looking for candidates with an extensive knowledge, interest and experience with IFRS, US GAAP knowledge is not required. Key for the role is the professional interest in complex issues regarding financial reporting. You will also be involved in internal audits, reviewing and preparing financial statements, working closely with the IFRS-reporting team as well as quarterly and annual reporting.

The role is an outgoing role with variation in tasks - from working operationally to assisting in strategic matters regarding the development of Höegh LNGs financial reporting. You should be proactive, enjoy working with different levels of the organization and enjoy working with complex financial issues in an international environemnt.
Main responsibilities:
- Quarterly and annual reporting
- Assist in planning quarter and year-end quarter process
- Prepare and review workpapers
- Assist preparation / review of financial statements and quarter / annual reports
- Assist internal & external auditor
- Contribute to preparations of new registration statements for US listings
- Assist in conversion from IFRS to US GAAP of new vessel owning entities
- Assist in improving internal processes and controls
- Work closely with Controllers
- Work closely with IFRS Reporting team on new accounting standards and identify US GAAP implications
- Participate in various phases of implementation of new ERP and consolidation system
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in accounting & audit
- 8-12 years work experience
- Prior experience in "big four" public accounting firm
- Strong technical accounting skills in IFRS
- Preferably International experience
- Excellent language and communication skills in English
- Organized and proactive
