PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
- The Product Specialist is to represent Abbott Diabetes Care to various customers
and by such secure that the ADC product portfolio is the preferred standard of care
for all insulin treated patients. - Ensure that annual country sales targets are reached, and product launches are
executed in line with marketing plan and with respect to ADCs guidelines.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for planning and execution of high quality sales calls and
ensure that all are in line with marketing plan as well as Abbott policies and
procedures - Stay continuously updated on sales numbers, patient uptake and Key
Opinion Leaders in order to maximise sales output and cost effectiveness - Keep an updated stakeholder plan and strategically plan to maximise outcome
of travel and sales calls - Responsible for planning and organizing educational meetings with
customers from own district - Ensure customer satisfaction through all contacts to support our aim of
being the preferred partner - Executes, evaluates and updates strategic excellence plan, monthly sales
reports and KOL engagement plan
BACKGROUND
- Bachelor's degree as minimum, preferably in
Medical, Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering - 5+ years of documented results in sales and/or marketing within Life
Science business or equivalent is required - Comprehensive understanding of the Norwegian health system and its decision processes
- Adequate computer, software and digital tool skills
- Norwegian and English fluent
- Driving license required Category B
