Fraud & Data Analyst

Now we are looking for a Fraud & Data Analyst to join the team. The Fraud Strategy & Analytics team is responsible for setting and owning the Entercard Group short- and long-term Fraud strategy. Together we own the 1st, 2nd and 3rd party fraud detection and prevention for consumer cards and loans, the internal fraud monitoring, we set the budgets and forecasts, perform continuous risk assessments and manage the strategies and rules in our monitoring systems Falcon and AFM.
The position will be placed in either Stockholm or Oslo.
What you'll be doing
- You will analyse/investigate/calculate/interpret issues related to Card and Application Fraud.
- Based on your analyses, you will propose/design solutions that mitigate the company?s fraud exposure, including strategies, rule writing, deployment, and performance tracking.
- You will be key in the implementation of systems upgrades, testing and the management of incidents
- You will support the deliveries expected by the business (including budgets, deadlines, quality and other specifications)
- You will prepare reports, documentation, taking into consideration and following the actual specifications and regulations.
- You will respond to internal and external enquires. If needed, you will escalate the enquiry to relevant person in the company.
- You will assist senior management in the construction of short- and long-term plans with associated benefits of fraud strategies
To succeed in this role, you need to:
You have proven knowledge and 2+ years of experience in SAS/SQL. You are familiar with data warehouse structures. You have a genuine interest in learning and understanding the technicalities of IT and fraud systems. You are open-minded, have a creative mind, enjoy solving problems and are eager to learn about Fraud. You have an analytical mindset, are curious about new ideas and embrace change as a part of your daily work.
You have also strong verbal skills and know how to facilitate and present an idea. Our corporate language is English so you need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in English. We also see that speaking a Scandinavian language is a benefit (Swedish/Norwegian/Danish).
