Uni Sushi & Izakaya in stunning Hardanger is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic sushi cook with a strong desire to learn and grow with us.

If you are passionate about Japanese cuisine, eager to explore both classic and Nikkei-style sushi, as well as izakaya sharing dishes and excited to contribute to our unique culinary style, we'd love to hear from you. Here, you'll have the opportunity to hone your skills, work with fresh, local ingredients, and help us create memorable sushi experiences that blend tradition with innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare classic and Nikkei-style sushi with creativity and care, contributing to our unique culinary vision

• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in all preparations

• Embrace a learning mindset, being open to training and collaborating on menu development

• Work independently while also contributing to a supportive team environment

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in sushi preparation or culinary training and is eager to learn more about classic and Nikkei styles

• Is passionate, self-motivated, and adaptable to new techniques and flavors

• Works well independently but values team collaboration and continuous improvement

• Can work evenings and weekends as required
