https://www.ntnu.edu/ilu/lesson-design-study-teaching-resources
The candidate is expected to contribute to the development of theory and research on (1) lesson design studies and/or (2) (teacher interaction with (digital)) curriculum resources. Lesson design studies involve researchers working collaboratively with teachers in planning/designing, appropriating, conducting, observing, reflecting and redesigning mathematics lessons. (Teacher interaction with (digital)) Curriculum resources include studies of teachers designing and evaluating (digital and/or analogue) curriculum resources (e.g. (e-)textbooks) and learning environments that include such resources. New developments include platforms where teachers can design collaboratively, and innovative lesson/course design where the teacher becomes the facilitator of student learning and students develop their own learning path with the curriculum resources on offer (e.g. in challenge-based learning).
Topics of particular interest to the research group within mathematics didactics include inquiry-based and/or challenge-based learning, mathematical literacy, and professionalization of mathematics teachers (e.g. as '(co-)designers of their own curriculum').
