As the Service Quality Engineer, you will assist the Service Quality Manager to ensure reliable service delivery of NOV's eVolve, ReedHycalog and ESSA operations. The role requires timely communication with all involved parties in the operations group as well as the Global quality team. Key skills include attention to detail in maintaining the systems, knowledge of industry standards, good communication skills as well as ensuring all processes are completed and conforming with all ReedHycalog Quality and HSE Policies and Procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within best practices for NOV internal Quality Manual. Create, update, follow up on local and operations procedures, as well as communicate new/updated procedures to the local team.
- Report and follow up on all NCR reporting in all aspects from field Itrax/JIRA, workshop NCR, delivery/suppliers JDE NCR, CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) from audits and customer concerns.
- Monitor that the departments Service Delivery is in compliance with customer criteria, according to tender agreements, and contribute to tenders.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Assist in maintaining of Quality Metrics and objectives, set by global and local management
- Prepare and participate at facility quality meetings.
- Follow up on MOC for quality aspects and maintain Quality Risk Assessments for applicable topics.
- Follow up on calibrations certificate for workshop equipment's/tools. Follow up on due date for workshop equipment certification.
- Facilitate and lead team efforts to establish and monitor customer/supplier relations.
- Assist in maintaining quality metrics for suppliers that already exist, conduct audits and request waivers via NOV Global quality team.
- Assist in maintaining and development of competency programs.
- Follow up and train new employees for the NOV internal systems
- Attend and participate on necessary personal development training for Service Quality both CBTs and class trainings. Read new/updated industry and NOV QMS and HSE procedures.
- Ensure document control is performed according to ReedHycalog procedures and stored in the applicable document management system.
- Participate in ReedHycalog Observation Reporting System to identify potential hazards within the workplace
- Proactive involvement in the HSEQ System to participate in HSEQ meetings and highlight any improvement opportunities
- Adhere to all ReedHycalog HSEQ Policies and procedures and ensure PPE guidelines are followed in designated areas.
- Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.
- Willingness to travel.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or associated topics.
- New graduated with relevant education.
- Previous experience within similar job role
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in engineering, risk management, applied data science or similar
- Experience working with oil & gas quality management systems
- Experience with internal and external audit processes
- Experience with non-conformance reporting
- Experience in Risk Assessment
- Training on ISO9000, ISO9001, ISO9004 & ISO19011 other QA standards.
- Formal training on NOV systems RigOffice, JDE, iTrax, Jira
