We are looking for a Cyber Security Operations Manager to take the lead on security operations in the Wilhelmsen group, ensuring that we can timely and efficiently protect, detect, respond to, and recover from security incidents.

The Cyber Security Operations Manager will report to the Director of Security & GRC.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and efficient detection of, response to, and recovery from security incidents
- Ensure security detection, response, and recovery policies and procedures are up to date, maintained and followed
- Oversee that platforms, systems and solutions are secured in accordance to agreed policies, procedures, and baselines
- Be incident lead on high and critical security incidents, leading cross-organisational responder team(s) and assist in incident response, forensics and recovery tasks
- Ensure as best as possible visibility across platforms, systems, and applications to detect security incidents
- Initiate and run projects to continuously improve and test detection, response, and recovery capabilities
- Oversee third-party security operation deliveries
- Responsible for the Wilhelmsen Cyber Incident Response Team (WCIRT) and its day-to-day capabilities for following up security incidents
- Monitoring of threat intelligence and emerging technologies
Qualifications you have for this role:
- University degree, minimum bachelor’s degree, in IT/cyber security, law enforcement, military or related fields. Relevant experience can compensate for a lack of formal education
- Relevant certifications and/or courses in cyber security, incident response or threat intelligence (e.g. from SANS, EC-Council, CompTIA or (ISC)²)
- Experience with security operations, including incident response forensics and/or cyber investigations
- Experience with security operation tools like Microsoft Defender ATP, Azure Security Centre, Azure Sentinel and/or Kibana
- Experience with following up on MSSP and security vendor deliveries
- A fan of Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) and a drive to apply these principles for how we do security operations in the Wilhelmsen group (Automate everything!)
- A strong interest in cyber security with an inner drive to continuously improve and excel at security operations
- Ability to both be hands on when needed and the ability to communicate and report to non-technical staff in an easy, understandable, and interesting way
- Self-going and self-managed, able to take own initiatives to meet agreed goals and milestones
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English
