Inspection Business Manager
Do you want to work in a fast pace project environment and manage several exciting projects within the Inspection segment? Archer Engineering is now looking for an Inspection Business Manager, leading the current activities related to our Inspection business and in addition taking the business to the next level.
The Manager shall develop, extend and conduct our business related to inspection services, and will supervise and manage the services within the Inspection-portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Provide input to and follow up strategies, prepare and implement business plans and processes for further growth within area of duties.
- Conduct business intelligence, identify market opportunities, and develop strategies in order to pursue new targets.
- Internal and external marketing and tendering work, client follow up activities.
- Establish and follow up frame agreements with Clients.
- Organize a highly qualified team for onshore and offshore inspections.
- Follow up of sub-contractors.
- Recruit relevant key resources in accordance with business plans.
- Internal and external reporting in accordance with requirements.
- Overall management of inspection activities. Secure compliance of business with governing rules and regulations, client contractual requirements and internal procedures.
- High focus on QHSE.
Preferred background and qualifications
- Higher Education (Bachelor Degree within Engineering is desirable).
- Good commercial skills.
- Long relevant experience and/or additional competence may compensate for lack of formal education.
- Proven records in developing medium to large scale inspection business with oil companies, service companies and / or drilling contractors.
- Experience with topside inspection services.
- Minimum 10 years` experience from Oil and Gas industry from an inspection company or equivalent
- Experienced with leading multi-discipline offshore activities within the segment (eg. Derrick inspections, verifications, rope access, rigging & lifting, NDT inspection, inspection of downhole tools, construction and demolition, recertification etc) is an advantage.
- Broad network within the key business areas.
- Enthusiastic, optimistic approach and ability to quickly understand and respond to client needs and expectations.
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
- Structured, analytical and proactive work attitude
- Independent and solution oriented
