Up Norway is a fast-growing tech start-up, catering to high end international travelers through a 2-sided digital platform. We are disrupting the way Norway as a travel destination is sold to the world, and our ambition is to become the leading provider of travel experiences in the Nordics! We have successfully created a matchmaking system with a human touch - which helps us connects modern travelers to unique experiences on a fully customised journey. Established in 2016, and with 400% order increase from 2017 to 2018 and customers from 40 different countries, Up Norway is already positioned as a key player in the Norwegian travel industry.
Our most important asset is our people. Our team consists of an operational team of 5 passionate industry insiders and a tech development team of 4. We are now looking to grow our team with two new key players; an Up Norway Insider -- Sales Specialist, and a Head of Marketing. Do you have what it takes to be a part of our journey?
Your role: Head of Marketing
The main goal with your role is to initiate, coordinate and manage our marketing initiates in a manner which significantly increases the number and quality of incoming journey requests.
- Analyze statistics and results in tools such as google analytics, hotjar, SoMe and our own backend system, and initiate appropriate action based on results and findings.
- Work closely with the management team to shape and practice our overall strategy based on OKR methodology.
- Create own SEO-optimized digital marketing content (Website, SoMe, newsletters) in professional and engaging English, plus contract external resources to do the same when required.
- Be responsible for our Content Management Platform; this involves image, video and text management, and a close collaboration with our tech team.
- Put updated digital marketing competence into practice
- Collaborate with our international PR partners

Your qualifications:
- Relevant education and work experience within marketing. You should have experience with programmatic marketing, SEO optimization, retargeting etc.
- Experience with communicating with a high end marked and within professional public relations is an advantage
- A genuine interest for marketing unique Norwegian experiences and delivering at a high service level
- Drive and a high working capacity
- Fluent written and oral English and Norwegian, as well as excellent communication skills. This involves being able to adapt your way of communicating to connect with different niches of travelers
- Ability to quickly get a grasp of a range of various software
- A creative mind
