This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
We are currently looking for a new Inside Sales Representative located in Norway (Lillestrøm) to join our Home Improvement Sales team, working with our Home Improvement Channel/accounts alongside the Norweigan KAM also stationed in Norway.
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an “Inside Sales Representative” you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Retaining and developing existing accounts and product categories, as well as identifying and close new opportunities on specific products/categories within the home improvement channel
- Drive the sell in of campaigns and promotions, new product and category launches on both HQ and outlet level
- Further support the stores in implementing new planograms, optimizing 2’nd placements, drive season sales and implement other category management tactics in collaboration with shopper marketing
- Develop the commercial relationships and best-in-class customer satisfaction with the individual stores of our customer account chains or individual stores served by distributors in Norway
- Collaborate very closely with the Key Account Manager in Norway, across all existing Key accounts ensuring the execution of the Home improvement channel strategy and related tactical and operational activities
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Full sales cycle experience - generating lead to close.
- Experience from both selling to offline retail stores and inside sales processes, including driving trade activations across different communication channels.
- Self-motivated, high degree of accountability and seniority and strong drive to succeed
- Knowledge in CRM system (Salesforce.com) and other sales acceleration tools
- Worked with both products and category management disciplines towards end customers -- including managing sell out data to support sales processes
- Commercial Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience working within the Home Improvement industry -- towards both DIY and Pro customer segments
- Analytical and data driven
- Having worked with designing and developing as well as implementing different category solutions in store
- Strong customer orientation and professional commercial relationship builder
