We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer Planner within our Abbott Rapid Diagnostics business located at Oslo, Norway . In this role, you will write procedures for the Engineering group and plan corrective and preventive maintenance. You will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and reliability of equipment utilized with our machinery on the production floor. This role plays an integral part in efficiently responding to maintenance requests to ensure that the fast pace of medical device production is not hindered.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide measurements such as the proportion of work which is planned/scheduled, emergency work, preventive maintenance condition based monitoring work, equipment uptime, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), mean time to repair and mean time between failures
- Implement maintenance program improvements for the problematic assets
- Planning of Maintenance Work Order efforts
- System manager for Maximo, migrating to Maximo this spring
- Register Equipment in Maximo
- Update and write SOP (Stand Operating Procedure) for Engineering team
- Analyze data from production lines
- Plan maintenance and Calibration activities.
- Facilitate development of maintenance strategies for all equipment. Support execution of RFM (Reliability Focus Maintenance) process on existing equipment.
- Conduct FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and determine the optimum maintenance practices for each major system
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR +10 yrs of work experience as a Technician
- Minimum of 3 years experience from maintenance
- 5 yrs work experience as a Chemical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer
- 2-3 yrs of experience with MMS (Manufacturing Management System, Maximo strongly preferred )
- Must be fluent in Norwegian and English languages (speak, read and write)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- +1 year of experience Maximo Administrator or Super User
- Analytical
- Curious
- Practical
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Worked with Clean Rooms
