International B2B and Brand Manager
We are looking for a business to business manager with extensive experience within brand positioning, international corporate and luxury travel. After a successful seasonal project we focus on expanding the awareness of northern Norway as a travel destination for the next 2-3 years. You as a b2b manager will lead the project and develop methods to reach and negotiate on the companies behalf with international partners and travel agents.
The work will be based out of Tromsø, but may include physical presence at travel trade shows both in and outside Norway. You as a project manager need to have extensive experience in representing brands and products to potential international partners, alongside develop a systems for acquiring long term deals and relationships, with focus on growing awareness of the destination and the products available.
The majority of the project will be focused on bringing awareness online, and in a structured way measure results and build routines for post contact processes. In combination with reaching out actively to international agencies. You will also part take in the development of suitable media productions, with the aim to help international partners to better understand and promote northern Norway.
The USA, Asia and UK are our most important markets and your level of english "business" language must be fluent to match the expectations of new travel agents. Network, insight of direct experience with the above mentioned markets is an advantage. Since most of the work is based on digital reach, we require previous experience with digital marketing at management level.
The work will include:
- Develop online marketing materials and structure a funnel for handling international travel agents request to promote the destination
- Analysis of online reach, engagement and ultimately results of our efforts to reach new partners all over the world.
- Structure sales funnels, and materials in different languages to communicate effectively with potential partners.
- Update routines for legal processes, contracts and partner agreements with international partners.
- Participate and drive the development of new media that suits the needs of international partners.
- Keep efficient communications with new partners via email, phone and in-person meetings.
- Plan and execute travel trade shows in Norway and abroad.
Minimum experience/skill level:
- Bachelor (or higher) education in sales, marketing or economics
- Minimum 3 years of experience within sales & marketing in the travel industry
- Corporate experience with brand development and communications
- Minimum of 2 years experience within management and business development
- Extensive experience from b2b management
- Experience from digital marketing (management level)
