Description: Are you ready to join the Metabolic Marketing Team and work in a competitive and changing market? To succeed in this challenging environment we are looking for a person with strong personality & power to drive the business.
In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the strategy according to Regional Integrated Brand Plan (IBP) and convert this into a country brand plan. You will have a balanced and defined customer interaction focus: you initiate and facilitate projects with external stakeholders. As a Brand Manager-Metabolism, you will have the opportunity to lead the national challenge to bring our brand into the next level.This role is based in the Asker offices of Boehringer Ingelheim Norway.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Guide the design and implementation of all marketing activities and include innovative marketing tactics, traditional and non-traditional partnerships, multi-channel opportunities and multi-stakeholder initiatives in order to meet strategic brand objectives
- Leading the Brand Team, motivate and coordinate cross functional teams
- Achieve sales budget and market share performance and manage the direct promotional budget
- Secure an optimal mix of customer facing and non-customer facing channels
- Contribute to the digital transformation within the Therapeutic Area (TA
- Coordinate sales cycle and training meetings to serve brand strategy objectives
- Give input and feedback for the regional IBP on local market, forecasting and competitor information
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders: medical affairs, market access and sales
- Ensure all in-field materials, strategies and tactics are aligned in order to drive momentum of strategic brand objectives
- Interact with the customers within the country (some national travel is expected in this role)
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master of Science/Marketing degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Metabolism and/or Cardio-vascular TA
- Previous experience in launching new products/indications is a plus
- Excellent command of the Norwegian and English language
- Previous experience participating or leading digital marketing initiatives is an asset
- Solid knowledge of strategic and tactical marketing principles (including Multi-channel)
- Excellent and well developed communication and collaboration skills
- Focused on results: always keep in mind how your efforts are translated in results
- Passionate team leader, must enjoy working with people in a complex matrix environment
- Prioritize your work, and drive execution excellence through discipline and collaboration
