BW LPG is the world's leading owner and operator of LPG vessels. BW LPG currently owns and operates 51 Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC) and Large Gas Carriers (LGC) including two VLGC new buildings with a total carrying capacity of 4 million cbm. With four decades of operating experience in LPG shipping and experienced seafarers and staff, BW LPG offers a flexible and reliable service to customers. With a global presence in nine countries, BW LPG operates out of Singapore and is incorporated in Bermuda.
We are currently focused on the transportation of LPG for leading international oil companies and national oil companies, as well as trading and utility companies. Our fleet operates on a combination of spot voyages, Contracts of Affreightment (CoAs) and time charters.
BW LPG is associated with BW Group. BW Group is involved in oil and gas transportation, floating gas infrastructure, environmental technologies and deep-water production. BW Group has a combined fleet of over 180 vessels which includes refined oil tankers, LNG and LPG carriers, and floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units.

We are currently seeking:
Operations Executive- BW LPG
To ensure effective and efficient coordination of fleet vessels operations, we are increasing the operations team in Oslo.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for daily vessel operations under direct supervision of the Manager/Senior Manager
- Negotiate and procure bunkers for spot market ships, under the guidance of the Manager/Senior Manager.
- Maintain and update all department / fleet operational records, files and databases
- Process and ensure compliance with Charter Party requirements and company procedures, all relevant operational information between fleet vessels, brokers, charterers and agents
- Monitor and record all details of voyage performance including off-hire, stoppages and delays within the Vessel Voyage Performance report
- Liaise with the Commercial department concerning any vessel information requirements, questionnaires, certification and scheduling as part of all pre and post fixture support
- Liaise with the fleet managers and insurance teams on vessel movements and voyage scheduling
- Arrange all routine invoicing and funding for voyage costs, including agency appointments, non-compulsory pilotage and surveyor's attendance
- Assist in department projects or additional duties as and when required
- Actively participate in the development of the quality management system and engage in the process for the continuous improvement of departmental procedures
- Attend Department meetings
Qualifications:
- Educated to Diploma level, or holding equivalent sea faring experience (2nd Mates Certificate)
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the marine industry
- Familiar with the Oil / Gas industry, especially vessel operations
- Experience in post-fixture work, laytime and demurrage calculations
- Very Fluent in written and spoken English
