This is an exciting opportunity for well-versed Senior Account Managers to join our Sales Team within our Industrial Automation and Control Solutions business. With a focus on Norway and the Scandinavian region , you will be responsible for the development of existing accounts and targeting prospective new customers. YOUR ROLE
- Generate new business and selling a diverse portfolio of solutions including advanced IT software solutions; Distributed Control Systems; hardware, software and services for Energy & Emissions Management; measurement and control products, including standalone instruments, smart sensors and integrated systems; automation systems; control and safety automation systems; systems for inventory management and tank terminal operations; wireless field instruments; mobile computing device; wireless networks; advanced and facility management applications.
- Work with customers and team members to build a deep understanding of needs and propose technical solutions .
- Develop plans for existing accounts , in line with regional strategic direction, and execute the objectives quickly and clearly.
- Support and maintain business relationships with Consultants and Design Centers, engaging early in the customer buying process to discover customer needs.
- Participate in conferences , fairs , customer meetings .
- Frequent travels (frequency may vary with an expected 60% minimum).
YOUR PROFILE
- University Degree or equivalent work experience level.
- A skilled Account Manager/Sales Consultant with a track record of success in selling industrial solutions (e.g.: process controls, software, IT solutions) preferably in the Oil & Gas , Pulp & Paper , chemicals , food & beverages , renewables , solar , etc. sectors.
- Validated experience prospecting for opportunities and attested previous customer acquisition experience.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English -- any additional Scandinavian language will be desirable.
- Intelligent and articulate with excellent presentation skills.
- A highly confident communicator.
- Experience of using modern sales CRM systems.
