Responsibility

Commissioning Lead -- P&U in HOD project, and for the Wellhead Platform Alliance (WHPA).

According to APEM role title; PEM-COM-C-O-DV-104/105
Key responsibilities
• Lead role for ensuring completions and commissioning requirements of all WHPA projects, carried out safely, efficiently, and ensure they meet all compnay`s project and operational requirements. Including verification and assurance.
• Alliance Project Execution Model (APEM)
o Ensure good APEM knowledge within the Completion organisation and arrange APEM introduction/training as required.
Organization / Leadership
• Provide leadership and direction to the Commissioning team and ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety and the environment to achieve company's expectations.
• Provision of commissioning support to project as required including ensure sufficient manning according to project needs.
• When required act as the site commissioning authority during the commissioning phases.
Main tasks
• Contribute to the preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimates associated with the commissioning scope.
• Increased commercial awareness for P&U.
• As part of DG2 (FEL) develop commissioning strategies
• Manage suppliers, and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for commissioning.
• Contribute to the continuous development of SW / digitization of the tools in use (example - TIF - checklists - PIMS CMS etc).
• Coordination of appropriate commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:
o Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (MC-check/FAT/SAT)
o Develop, review and implement commissioning procedures.
o Implement the commissioning scope.
o Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
o As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering all disciplines, to meet company's expectations.
• Participate in pre-startup and performance test reviews.
• Establish completions and handover strategy and documentation early to support efficient commissioning and handover to operations at end of project.
• 1:1 conversations within team on regular frequence.
Ønskede kvalifikasjoner
Education
• BSc. in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
Experience
• Track record of engineering competency and delivery in the Oil & Gas industry and able to demonstrate effective project management skills
• Ability to engage and lead a team of professionals
• Familiarity with planning tools, works management systems and document management systems
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Performance
Commissioning Lead P&U will agree goals for his/her performance with Hook-up & Commissioning Manager.
