About DigiTech
DigiTech is a department at Aker Solutions that creates and applies digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. We drive digital transformation and innovation within the organization. This role will primarily focus on Engineering within the New Build branch of DigiTech.

What will you be doing?
• Collect, interpret, and analyse business data.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI.
• Identify market trends and business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through partnerships with Data Ops and Data Architects.

Qualifications we think you should have:
• MSc. or BSc in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ engineering experience within oil & gas or renewables energy.
• Have an engineering mindset and can work closely with our engineers to create semantic models and visuals for the Engineering division.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL and data warehousing is a plus.
• Software skills: Power BI, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly, proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English both oral and written.

Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway
Contract duration: 1 year with option for extension
