We're looking for Shore Excursion Coordinators to help support our growing portfolio of shore excursions around the world. In this role, you will report to our Shore Excursions Manager and work with the development, sales, and operations of land-based experiences that help Hurtigruten guests connect with their inner explorer.
You'll play an important role in helping us build the Shore Excursions department, so we are looking for colleagues who are excited to challenge the way we do things and take ownership of helping us improve. We're looking for natural collaborators who are energized by working with others. You speak and write fluently English and preferably also Scandinavian languages. Knowledge of other languages is beneficial.
You'll be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team with an ambitious agenda. The right candidates are structured, action-oriented, and "get things done." Ideally, you'll have some experience working in the shore excursion ecosystem, whether from a cruise line or a tour operator, and a passion for responsible travel.

Duties and responsibilities
- Support the bidding, negotiating, and contracting of shore excursions that help our guests experience the destinations they visit
- Monitor performance and ensure compliance with Hurtigruten standards for quality, safety, and sustainability
- Support loading of shore excursions into our systems, keeping them up to date
- Provide day-to-day operational support for onboard staff and suppliers, to ensure smooth and seamless shore excursion operations and guest experience
- Contribute to and proofread sales and marketing material and trainings
- Identify and help implement commercial, operational, and guest experience improvement opportunities
- Support the development of itineraries
- Assist with research and analysis, as needed
- We have offices and suppliers around the world, so some travel may be required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in operations for a cruise line or tour operator, preferably with experience in shore excursions
- Shipboard experience is beneficial, but not required
- Knowledge of Hurtigruten's existing destinations, or new destinations that may be a good fit us as World Leader in Exploration Travel
