Product marketing for globally leading Satcom company
Main responsibility and objective:
Product Marketing Manager's main responsibility is to further develop Marlink’s maritime satellite broadband value add services portfolio, with the objective to fulfil key maritime market segment needs & requirements, increase service penetration, monetize and generate sustainable growth.
Your tasks will be, amongst others:
- Capture and analyze market evolution, customer requirements/needs, competition offering to identify key trends and opportunities for new services/revenues.
- Define and specify new service features and offering, as well as service management enhancements across all service components (e.g.: equipment, portal, etc...).
- Develop in collaboration with Commercial and Pricing teams, service forecast/business plan (e.g.: subscriber, ARPU and margin) and go-to-market strategy (incl. pricing).
- Share commercial specifications/requirements with development teams (e.g.: Technology, Engineering, IM), contribute to fine-tune detailed service features, define development prioritization and follow-up/report on development timeline/delivery.
- Trigger service implementation in close coordination with Marlink operational and support organization. For legacy services: suggest/lead service management change initiatives to increase customer satisfaction and/or service management efficiency (incl. termination / migration).
- Regularly review, evolve and keep updated service and pricing catalog, as well as commercial documentation and materials to support sales / promotional activities.
- Actively promote service portfolio internally (via service presentation, training, sales WebEx etc ) as well as support sales in customer win and deal-closing (via joint customer visits, promotion, etc ).
- Identify, negotiate, agree and manage commercial relationship with third-party technology & service vendors/partners (when needed).
- Monitor and report regularly on commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
- Represent company at industry/product-related/customer events.
Candidate profile:
- Proven / successful experience in Product and/or Commercial Management, preferably in IT and/or Telco
- Master’s degree in Engineering (combined with degree in Business) or Business/ Commercial Management (ideally focused on ITC/New tech).
- Good knowledge of IT & Communication, Networks technologies & market trends
- Very good written & spoken English.
- Good command of Office365 (e.g.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Commercially focused and result driven.
- Highly motivated and agile with ability to work under pressure.
- Team-player, confident and representative appearance.
- Readiness to travel worldwide.
