Danica Group Compliance is a newly established function within Danica Group, and we need experienced and skilled professionals to further develop this important function. The team you will join is based in Norway and co-operates with the rest of the team based in Denmark. Some travel may be expected.
For this position you can be based in either Oslo or Trondheim.

Your role
You will be undertaking the work of Danica Compliance together with another colleague in Norway.
You will be a close liaison with business stakeholders providing relevant advice, challenge and support. Your mains tasks will be to participate in risk assessments as well as monitoring, training and reporting activities. The candidate we are looking for will also be contributing to a positive team spirit both within Danica Compliance, and across other Compliance teams and within the business.
Who are you?
As a Compliance Officer we expect that you have an academic degree and have 5+ years of work experience from the financial sector, the legal function or the compliance or risk management function, preferably in a life and pension business environment. You should have knowledge and understanding of Norwegian legislation for financial institutions.
You are a team player and can demonstrate a record of positive stakeholder engagement, and you have a strong work ethic as well as good communication and influencing skills. The candidate we are looking for have good judgment, analytical skills as well as the ability to create and manage initiatives. To be successful in the role you should be self-driven and motivated, and you should have a structured approach to your work.
For this position, an advanced command of both English and Norwegian is required.
This is an exciting position with lots of responsibilities and opportunities. You will play an important role in the compliance function in Danica.
