Global Business Excellence (GBE) serves as a commercial expert function for the Sales and Marketing segment, covering Commercial Excellence, Product Management, Brand, Marketing, Agronomy and Learning. The role of GBE is to drive strategy implementation, operational excellence, performance management; support business unit and country strategy execution through best practices, on-the-ground support and knowledge transfer solutions while governing commercial global processes, products, brands and applications.
About the department
The Brand and Marketing Department is responsible for the overall marketing and positioning strategy across the company within GBE; an Expert Function serving the Yara Sales & Marketing Segment. Additionally, the department will lead all positioning, branded communications and marketing activities in support of Yara’s mission, vision and corporate strategy including oversight, development and deployment of necessary marketing initiatives and branding efforts to achieve Yara’s long- and short-term goals. In addition to building brand awareness and being a thought leader with a proven ability to execute scalable strategies that drive impactful results, the role will play a critical role in Yara’s digital transformation and requiring a high level of digital marketing skills acumen.
Responsibilities
The Web Specialist will support the Web Development Manager with both iterative and long-term improvements regarding corporate and country sites. A non-developer role, this individual will however become fully immersed in the sites, their user flows and overall setup - becoming an integral go-to team member that can help elevate the UX and push Yara’s digital value proposition.
This position will report to the Web Development Manager
- Become fully versed at how Yara country & corporate work and integrate with other digital tools & services
- Serve as web team’s point-of-contact with relevant tool & service stakeholders when issues and/or updates occur
- Identify, test and provide recommendations for areas of UX site enhancements
- Support web improvements (non-coding) based on strategy developed by Web Development Manager
- Manage backlog refinement, ensuring needs are clear for development team to implement more complex technical changes
- Exposure to Yara Brand & Marketing teams to understand how business is currently leveraging digital to engage and fulfill customers
- Assist members of the Digital Services team as needed

- University degree
- Creative thinker and solution oriented
- Exposure to content management systems a plus
- Independent and dynamic person with a structured approach
- English essential, other languages useful
Additional Information
This is a temporary position to cover for 1 year maternity leave. The position is on a full time basis 100%.
