We are searching for a Section Manager, Electrical Production
As Section Manager you will lead the Electrical Production group and report to Department Manager Production & Test.
You will have the following responsibilities and tasks:
- Lead, organize and guide the employees in the Electrical production department group
- Motivate and develop staff members
- Follow up and organize the resources and plan accordingly
- Play a key role in ensuring quality and delivery performance
- Close cooperation with engineering, purchasing, mechanical production, project and test
- Training of employee in the department and in sister companies worldwide
- Participate and lead continuous improvement projects where appropriate
- Measurable targets: The department’s delivery precision, environmental targets and KPI’s
- Personnel responsibility in the section
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Management experience is required
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both customers and colleagues
- Pro-active and independent approach to problem solving
- Skills from assembly or manufacturing of electrical machines
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
- Pronounced sense of order
