As our Head of Sales Europe you will have the overall responsibility for increasing sales and developing the regional markets in close cooperation with sales, marketing and innovation teams for our key accounts and distributors.

Your international customers and distributors will appreciate your presence at a variety of events and meetings, and your sales and costumer team will acquire your coaching and leadership. We need you to build our future key account management culture with focus on new ways of working and new collaboration models. In this role you will interact with top management in Ohly and with your customers. The role will work closely with and report to the Global Sales Director.

The Head of Sales Europe has the following responsibilities:
- Identify a path to growth in EMEA region and develop the roadmap for sustainable growth
- Develop a pro-active cross selling sales organization and lead the team performance in accordance with global business strategies and Ohly growth strategy.
- Develop and implement the sales and business development plan for regions within EMEA in order to create a pipeline of business opportunities and new prospects in new countries.
- Lead the sales team to develop customer/distributor specific promotion plans, project pipelines, and business expansion plan.
- Lead the technical service team for the acquisition of customer projects via technical customer consultations.
- Develop long-term relationships with clients` and distributors` departments (procurement, R&D, application).
- Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs with support from finance, marketing, procurement etc.
- Make sure that the regional sales teams training is conducted and deliver customer oriented salespeople with in-depth product knowledge and ability to sell value added products.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales Management, Marketing or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solutions selling including the responsibility for sales to key accounts
- Leadership experience of sales team preferably from international product sales
- A proven track record in professional negotiations and contract closing
- The ability to work closely with different stakeholders in an international environment
- Well-developed business insight in combination with a commercial mindset
- A people manager with the ability to enthuse and convince own team and customers
- You are fluent in English and German, both written and oral. Other language skills are an advantage, but not required.
