Role Purpose
- Drive the delivery of the Client Norway growth plans through the recruitment of new owners and properties in line with the targets set, monthly, quarterly and annually
- To lead, coach, motivate and develop a team of fulltime and freelance recruiters to optimise every commercial opportunity and maximise recruitment and sales opportunity.
- Ensure fast and quality execution leading to high conversion rate on centrally driven digital leads
- To drive performance of self-generation and prospecting both through targeting and strategic partnerships and through recruiter driven self-generation
- To own and be full accountable for Norwegian recruitment targets and actively ensuring quality properties are recruited commercially without any churn risk
- Ensure all customers receive a best in class service and forge strong and successful relationships with key accounts ensuring they continue to see the benefits of working with Client, maximising retention
- To support the business as required in ad-hoc cross country projects and work-streams as required
- Drive and optimize the sales process to be as efficient and modern as possible using technology wherever possible
- Always be on top of the industry trends and competitors offering to owners making sure our value proposition is relevant
- To own and be full accountable for the cost budget of Norway
- Lead, manage, coach, motivate and develop a team of high performing recruiters to optimise every commercial opportunity and maximise owner and property recruitment and sales
- Champion dynamic, innovative, professional, sales focused and networking behaviours and be a role model for the team
- Ensure the team builds and maintains strong relationships with owners ensuring every touch point delivers a market leading experience and is reflected through strong retention of new properties
- Ensure the team receive and act on relevant commercial and environmental information and intel
- Ensure the team adhere to all company policies and compliance requirements
- Where appropriate implement performance management plans to support the achievement of individual and team targets
Portfolio Growth
- Encourage recruiters to identify new ways to locate and recruit properties through targeting and data scraping
- Work with the regional managers and recruiters to create a development plan for the area and as a minimum review progress monthly
- Work with the salespeople to monitor and track each opportunity through effective management of the Salesforce CRM pipeline ensuring notes and stages are kept fully up to date
Business Development
- To be an advocate and ambassador for all things at Client and passionately sell the business and its brands to prospective new owners and third parties.
- Work closely with the Clients HQ office and VP Business Development in other countries to ensure best practises to leverage maximum sales and reputational benefit
- Assess the competition through networking and mystery shopping where possible to understand its owner/market offering, ensuring the relevant stakeholders are kept up to date with local intel and changes within the competition set
- Work the network! – attending industry events, conferences and events to maximise networking opportunities
- Work with the recruiters and new/existing owners to identify and secure new opportunities for product growth
- Keep abreast of developments in Norway ensuring our portfolio and commercial offers are leading edge and deliver competitive advantage
- Ensure the recruiters keep Salesforce CRM and supporting reporting up to date with supporting notes and documents following a new visit
- Ensure recruiters have a robust Salesforce CRM pipeline in place and represents the correct stage for each new opportunity
- Prepare monthly in depth business reviews and weekly drumbeats detailing Norwegian activity highlighting key achievements, pressure points and development opportunities - large and small
- Deliver and report on the budgets and cost allocation across the Norwegian organisation
- Assist the Senior Vice president in ad-hoc projects and work programmes

Education, training, skills and experience required
- Proven track record in sales management with a passion for selling and exceeding expectations
- Excellent communicator with great relationship building and negotiation skills
- Experience of managing a remote sales team
- Experience of coaching and supporting sales behaviours
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Commercially astute and able to interpret financial data
- Experience in using a Sales Force or a similar CRM
- Ability to confidently deliver and present to C level
